My Uncle Silas

(PG)

The rural tale of a loveable, romantic rogue who delights in cocking a snoot at the respectable conventions of life in Edwardian England. Silas (5 time Oscar nominated Albert Finney) is an incorrigible character - a drunk and a lecher who embarks on a series of comical adventures with his 10 year old nephew (Prospero) during one summer Featuring a guest appearance form Charlotte Rampling. Sumptuously filmed this production does full justice to the original work and successfully evokes memories of a bygone England.

Sue Johnston, Joe Prospero, Jullian Holloway, Jennifer Piercy, Janet Henfrey,
Andrew Greenough, Lisa Kay.

This is an excellent series by H.E. Bates. This is a hilarious series and keeps you glued for hours. Excellent acting from all the cast.

The Darling Buds of May

(PG)

Wallow in the nostalgia of the 1950s as Britain's best loved family are back in this celebration of love, family life and romance in the idyllic British countryside. Loveable rogue Pop Larkin (David Jason), Ma (Pam Ferris) and their six children, including the stunning Mariette (Catherine Zeta Jones) radiate happiness with hardly a care in the world! Whilst Pop's unconventional money making schemes bubble along Ma nurturers and the family from the warmth of her busy kitchen and life continues in a paradise of sunshine and happiness.

Stephanie Ralph, Philip Franks, Christina Giles, Katherine Giles, Rachel Bell, Ross Marriott,
Ian Tucker, Abigail Rokison, Moray Watson, Daisy-May Bates.

I watched this when it was first of TV thought it was ok. It is a delightful English comedy with times when you have to laugh - perfect for a rainy Sunday afternoon!

(PG)

Arkwright (Ronnie Barker), the brown-coated, stuttering, Northern shop-keeper is forced to open his corner-shop for as long as the law will permit. Stephanie Cole, Barbara Flynn, Kathy Staff, Maggie Ollerenshaw, Francis Cox.

Open All Hours is an all time classic and one of my favourite programmes, Ronnie Barker is so Hilarius. If you like Ronnie Barker or David Jason your really going to love this!!!

A Touch of Frost

(12)

As D.I. Frost (David Jason) and sidekick D.C. Clive Barnard (Matt Bardock) search for a missing girl they find themselves uncovering a crime dating back 30 years. Frost is also coming to terms with the trauma of his wife's death, not surprisingly, he finds refuge in his work.

Frost, now with new sidekick, D.C. Webster (George Anton), a Scotsman who's struggling to fit in at Denton Police Station are on the case as a pensioner is put in hospital by a hit and run driver. Evidence left at the scene leads them to the arrogant son of a Member of Parliament. A robbery has also taken place at the local casino run by Phyllis Bowman, a lady who definitely doesn't care for the attentions of the Police.

Didn't get to see much of this series but what I did see I really enjoyed watching it. Frost will be one of those characters that you just love and never not able to watch the episodes over and over again, if you fancy a mystery or even just to follow the story of the characters...
This has it all!!!

The Escapist

(15)

Frank Perry (Brian Cox) is an institutionalized convict fourteen years into a life sentence without parole. When his estranged daughter falls ill (Eleanor McLynn), he is determined to make peace with her before it's too late. He develops an ingenious escape plan, and recruits a dysfunctional band of escapists - misfits with unique skills required for their daring plan and united by desire to escape their hell hole of an existence. Much of the action takes place within the tunnels, sewers and underground rivers of subterranean London.

Joseph Fiennes, Seu Jorge, Damian Lewis, Laim Cunningham,
Dominic Cooper, Steven Mackintosh, Ned Dennehy.

I really enjoyed this movie, good story, good acting. Tense at some points of the movie, left you wondering whats going to happen next, sad few scenes and a really good ending. Definitely a must a watch!!!

All Creatures Great & Small

(PG)

James Herriot (Christopher Timothy) is a vet in Yorkshire, England, during the 1940's. He is assigned to the practice of Siegfried Farnon (Robert Hardy), who (together with his mischievous brother Tristan) already have a successful business. James undergoes a variety of adventures during his work, which are just as often caused by the characters of the county (including the Farnon brothers) as the animals in his care.

Peter Davison, Lynda Bellingham, Mary Hignett, Carol Drinkwater.

Use to watch this when it was first shown on TV, thought it was really hilarious. Now I'm watching the reruns on sky, and still find it a joy to watch!!!

The Hills Have Eyes 2

(18)

What started with the Carter family clearly didn't end with the Carter family...

Co-written by Wes Craven and his son Jonathan Craven, Fox Atomic's The Hills Have Eyes 2 is directed by Martin Weisz, and produced by Wes Craven, Marianne Maddalena and Peter Locke.

As part of a routine mission, a unit of National Guard soldiers stop at a New Mexico outpost in order to deliver equipment to a group of atomic scientists. When they arrive at the isolated research camp, however, they find it is mysteriously deserted. After spotting a distress signal in a distant mountain range, the team decide to embark on a search and rescue mission into the hills in order to locate the missing scientists. Little do they know that these are the very hills that the ill-fated Carter family (Aaron Stanford, Kathleen Quinlan, Vinessa Shaw, Emilie De Ravin, Dan Byrd, Ted Levine, in the first movie) once visited, and that a tribe of cannibalistic mutants lies in wait. And this time, there is an even larger force of evil at work that is intent on the soldiers' very destruction: the worst of the worst - the family patriarch Papa Hades (Michael Bailey Smith) - plans to keep the women as breeders in order to ensure the survival of the mutant clan. Thus, the un-expecting group of soldiers must learn to band together against a foe that is intent on their very destruction.

Michael McMillian, Jessica Stroup, Jacob Vargas, Flex Alexander, Lee Thompson Young, Daniella Alonso, Eric Edelstein, Reshad Strik, Ben Crowley.

Watch this the other night it was quite good. Made me jump in quite a few parts of the movie. Not as good as the first but still good. I recommend you watch this if you have seen the first movie.

Home to Roost

(12)

Henry Willows (John Thaw) is a middle-aged divorcee contentedly living alone. Feathers really fly as his orderly life is disrupted when his teenage son Matthew (Reece Dinsdale), whom he has not seen for seven years, appears out of the blue, intending to stay. While Henry has never quite seen himself as the typical loving parent, he reluctantly agrees to give the arrangement a try. The differences in age and temperament between father and son produce hilarious situations as they attempt to adjust to life together. Matthew is a typical teenager who likes rock music, girls, telling lies and drinking his father's whiskey. From the moment he moves in, life for poor Henry will never be the same.

Elizabeth Bennett, Rebecca Lacey, Joan Blackham, Jill Gascoine, John Bird, Jenna Russell,
Clare Clifford, Peter Blythe.

This is a fantastic comedy, watched it when it was first shown on TV. Now watching the reruns on sky. This is totally Hilarious!!

Dreamcatcher

(15)

"Dreamcatcher" tells the story of four young friends (Thomas Jame, Jason Lee, Damian Lewis, Timothy Olyphant) who perform a heroic act - and are changed forever by the uncanny powers they gain in return. Years later, on a hunting trip in the Maine woods, they are overtaken by a blizzard, a vicious storm in which something much more ominous moves. Challenged to stop an alien force, the friends must first prevent the slaughter of innocent civilians by a military vigilante, then overcome a threat to the bond between them. In the end, they confront an unparalleled horror, with the fate of the world in the balance.

Morgan Freeman, Tom Sizemore, Donnie Wahlberg, Mikey Holekamp, Reece Thompson, Giacomo Baessato, Joel Palmer, Andrew Robb, Eric Keenleyside, Michael O'Neil, Rosemary Dunsmore.

I'm a Stephen King fan - books and movies! He knows how to bring his books to life, in a really great way. This is an excellent example. The atmosphere of the book is transferred well onto the big screen... All in all an excellent movie!!!

StormBreaker

(15)

You're never too young to die!

After the death of his uncle, the 14-year-old hero is forced by the Special Operations Division of Britain's secret intelligence service, MI6, for a mission which will save millions of lives...

Based on the first of the best-selling series of Alex Rider novels by Anthony Horowitz, Stormbreaker introduces the reluctant teenage super-spy to cinema audiences.

Sarah Bolger, Robbie Coltrane, Damian Lewis, Ewan McGregor, Sophie Okonedo.

This is a movie which didn't do so well as I think it should have done, its no Harry Potter but it is good for a couple of hours to watch. Hopefully the movie bigwigs don't write the series off too soon as a second movie could be great - only suggestion is a bit more action could be needed!!

Epic Movie

(15)

We Know It's Big. We Measured.

Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer set their parodic sights on the largest genre of them all, Hollywood's big-budget, special effects-laden, blockbuster franchise films.

The story centers on four not-so-young orphans: one reared by a curator at the Louvre (where an albino assassin lurks); another, a refugee from Mexican "libre" wrestling; the third a recent victim of snakes on her plane; and the fourth a "normal" resident of a mutant "X"-community. The hapless quartet visits a chocolate factory, where they stumble into an enchanted wardrobe that transports them to the land of Gnarnia (with a silent "G"). There they meet a flamboyant pirate captain and earnest students of wizardry - and join forces with, among others, a wise-but-horny lion to defeat the evil White Bitch of Gnarnia.

Kal Penn, Adam Campbell, Jennifer Coolidge, Jayma Mays, Faune A. Chambers, Hector Jimenez, Tony Cox, Darrell Hammond.

This movie really sucks from beginning to end with very little laughs. Major disappointment! The spoof guys have really let themselves down with this stupid movie. I recommend you give it a miss not worth wasting you money on or time watching!!!

Kung Fu Panda

(PG)

It's the story about a lazy, irreverent slacker panda, named Po (Jack Black), who is the biggest fan of Kung Fu around...which doesn't exactly come in handy while working every day in his family's noodle shop. Unexpectedly chosen to fulfill an ancient prophecy, Po's dreams become reality when he joins the world of Kung Fu and studies alongside his idols, the legendary Furious Five -- Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Crane (David Cross), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Viper (Lucy Liu) and Monkey (Jackie Chan) -- under the leadership of their guru, Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman). But before they know it, the vengeful and treacherous snow leopard Tai Lung (Ian McShane) is headed their way, and it's up to Po to defend everyone from the oncoming threat. Can he turn his dreams of becoming a Kung Fu master into reality? Po puts his heart - and his girth - into the task, and the unlikely hero ultimately finds that his greatest weaknesses turn out to be his greatest strengths.

Randall Duk Kim, Dan Fogler, Kyle Glass, JR Reed.
Watch this the other day with my daughter and thought it was good as a kids movie. (cant see why its a PG though should of been a U) Started of a bit slow but struck with it, and it turned out it was a really good movie!!!

Kung Fu

(15)

One day while with his teacher Master Po (Keye Luke) , they crossed paths with the Emperor's nephew, who in a fit of rage shot Po. Caine in a fit of rage killed him. At the same he is being hounded by bounty hunters, it seems the Royal family have placed a price on him. As he travels he meets people with problems that parallel his experiences in China that he uses to help them.

Radames Pera, Philip Ahn, James Hong, Richard Loo, James Weatherill, Victor Sen Yung.

Really use to enjoy watching these when I was growing up. I loved the slow motion filming in fighting sequences action as well as the philosophical aspects whilst traveling through the "wild West". nostalgic experience for me that brought me back to my teens. A really excellent TV series!!!

Top movie, oldies are the best and if you love Mel Gibson then you'll love this. A must for anyone's collection who likes a bit of comedy, a good laugh and quality eye candy. A great movie watch it now!!!

If your a fan of Mel Gibson you'll love this movie. Its appeals to all age groups coupling humour with sadness in a most unique and awe inspiring way. You will be glued to this like I was. This is a real good family movie and I recommend it to all. Watch this and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Trading Places

(15)

Louis Winthorpe III (Dan Aykroyd) is a successful Philadelphia commodity broker with mansion, manservant and girlfriend to match. Billy Ray Valentine (Eddie Murphy) is a hustling beggar. Winthorpe's employers, the elderly Duke brothers, make a bet that by switching the lifestyle of the two Billy Ray will make good and their man will take to a life of crime. Suddenly Louis finds himself uncomprehendingly with no job, no home and only a new acquaintance, glamorous hooker Ophelia, prepared to help him. So at least in one way things could actually be worse.

Denholm Elliot, Bonnie Behrend, Don Ameche, Ralph Bellamy, Jamie Lee Curtis.

This is a really hilarious movie from back in the days when Eddie Murphy was actually really funny! Dan Ackroyd is also very good as the toffee nosed wall street trader that Eddie Murphy trades places with. All in all a great movie!!!

Forbidden Planet

(PG)

In the year 2257, and Altair 4, a distant colony, has three inhabitants; Professor Morbius (Walter Pidgeon), his bewitching daughter (Anne Francis), and a dutiful robot, named Robby (Frankie Darro and Marvin Miller), who speaks 188 languages. When a space cruiser from Earth lands on the planet a deadly secret is revealed that could spell doom for all on the planet...

Forbidden Planet is the granddaddy of tomorrow, a pioneering work whose ideas and style would be reverse-engineered into many cinematic space voyages to come. Shakespeare's "The Tempest" is transformed into this landmark science-fiction film, which featuring sets of extraordinary scale and the first all-electronic musical soundscape in film history, Forbidden Planet is in a movie orbit all its own!

Leslie Nielson, Warren Stevens, Jack Kelly, Richard Anderson.

Another great sci fi classice that you wont get bored watching. A bit scary for kids to watch, so I recommend you watch it first then judge for yourself. This movie has a bit of the dark side about it but its still a movie you could watch again without getting bored.

Ordinary People

(15)

Devastated by the loss of their older son, Calvin (Donald Sutherland) and Beth (Mary Tyler Moore), a well-to-do suburban couple, are trying to rebuild their lives after their younger son, Conrad (Timothy Hutton), attempts suicide. While Beth, who always favored the elder son, retreats into an icy, emotionless shell, Calvin tries to draw Conrad back into the family and into life as a teenager. Conrad sings in the choir and returns to the swim team, but both his brother's death and his own experiences traumatize him. Conrad reluctantly begins therapy sessions with Berger (Judd Hirsch), which allow him some respite from the unbearable grief and guilt he carries with him. As Conrad makes strides, Calvin realizes that he no longer knows his wife and is both saddened and angered by how seemingly emotionless she has become.

A classic portrait of family life in the face of tragedy, Robert Redford's award-winning directorial debut is moving and thought provoking. Based on the novel by Judith Guest, the film features the debuts of Timothy Hutton and Elizabeth McGovern.

M. Emmet Walsh, Dinah Manoff, Fredric Lehne, James Sikking, Basil Hoffman, Scott Doebler.

This is the first movie the legend Robert Redford directed .Timothy Hutton is outstanding as Conrad the center of the Movie. He won an Oscar for his great performance! Donald Sutherland and Mary Tyler Moore are also brilliant as his mother and father. I would recommend you buy this on DVD!!!

I Robot

(12)

It's the year 2035, and the community now has the help of robots. These robots have three laws integrated into their system. One, they cannot harm a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. Two, they must do whatever they're told by a human being as long as such orders don't conflict with law one. Three, they have to defend themselves as long as such defense doesn't conflict with laws one or two. One day, the writer of the three laws, Alfred Lanning (James Cromwell), apparently jumps out of the tenth-floor window of U.S. Robotics. The majority of the Chicago Police Department believe that he committed suicide, but Detective Del Spooner (Will Smith), who hates robots, thinks he was murdered, and the number one suspect is a Nestor Class-5 robot who calls himself Sonny (Alan Tudyk). However, if it was Sonny, then that means he would've had to have broken the three laws. With the help of Dr. Susan Calvin (Bridget Moynahan), Spooner must now discover the truth before it's too late.

Bruce Greenwood, Adrian Ricard, Chi McBride, Jerry Wasserman, Fiona Hogan.

This is an amazing movie, It's real action movie. Will smith is an amazing actor. I love the action and pretty much everything it. No character could have done this movie better than Will Smith!!!

Lilo Stitch

(U)

In a place far, far away, illegal genetic experiment #626 is detected: Ruthless scientist Dr. Jumba Jookiba has created a strong, intelligent, nearly indestructible and aggressive being with only one known weakness: The high density of his body makes it impossible for the experiment to swim in water. The scientist is sentenced to jail by the Grand Council of the Galactic Federation. The experiment is supposed to be transported to a prison asteroid, yet manages to escape Captain Gantu (Kevin Michael Richardson), who was supposed to deliver him there. With a stolen police cruiser (the red one), the destructive being races towards a little and already doomed planet: Earth. Stranded on Hawaii, experiment #626 can't actually do much harm: water all around, no big cities and two well-equipped representatives of the Galactic Federation already following close behind to catch him again. But Dr. Jookiba and the Earth expert Pleakley never could have guessed that earth girl Lilo adopts the experiment as dog, gives him the name Stitch and actually causes an emotional development in the little beast. Her dysfunctional family, consisting only of Lilo (Daveigh Chase) and her sister Nani (Tia Carrere), is about to be ripped apart by social worker Cobra Bubbles. Stitch as the new family member brings quite some action into all their lifes, and after a while, not even Pleakley and Dr. Jookiba can recognize their former target.

Tells the story of a little girl Lilo and 'stitch'who is in fact an alien who crash landed on Earth. Lilo turns stitch' destructive ways around and shows him the meaning of family.
It has the same sort of family humour as the newer Disney movie like Mulan and Tarzan.

Priscilla Queen of the Desert

Two drag-queens (Anthony/Mitzi (Hugo Weaving) and (Guy Pearce) Adam/Felicia) and a transexual (Bernadette, Terence Stamp) contract to perform a drag show at a resort in Alice Springs, a resort town in the remote Australian desert. Their bus breaks down, and is repaired by Bob, who travels on with them.

Rebel Penfold-Russell, John Casey, June Marie Bennett, Murray Davies.

This is a great funny movie that everyone should watch! It has some great heart-warming scenes and makes you see things in a different light. The outfits are outrageous and fabulous and the three main actors are great. This movie should not be missed!

Latest of the Die Hard movie has great stunts. Personally I really enjoyed this movie and it's great to see Bruce Willis bring back John McClane. Best action movie I've seen this year, so far.

Die Hard 2: Die Harder

(18)

On a snowy Christmas Eve in the nation's capital, a team of terrorists has seized a major International Airport, and now holds thousands of holiday travellers hostage. The terrorists, a renegade band of crack military commandos led by a murderous rogue officer (William Sadler), have come to rescue a drug lord from justice. They've prepared for every contingency, except one: John McClane, an off-duty cop seized by a feeling of deadly de-ja-vu.

Bruce Willis returns as the heroic cop who battles not only terrorists, but also an incompetent airport police chief (Dennis Franz), the hard-headed commander (John Amos) of the army's anti-terrorist squad and a deadly winter snowstorm. The runways are littered with death and destruction, and McClane is in a race against time. His wife (Bonnie Bedelia) is trapped on one of the planes circling somewhere overhead, desperately low on fuel.

It's all-out war, a heart stopping, jet-propelled journey through excitement and terror. Fasten your seat belts!

William Sadler, Franco Nero, Dennis Franz, Art Evans, Fred Dalton Thompson.

This is a great sequel to the first Die Hard, but it doesn't beat it. However, it is still an excellent movie. I can guarantee that all action fans will love it. I recommend you watch it if you haven't seen them yet!!!

Die Hard

(18)

High above the city of LA a team of terrorists has seized a building, taken hostages, and declared war. But one man has managed to escape detection.. An off-duty cop. He's alone..tired..and the only chance anyone has.

Bruce Willis stars as New York City Detective John McClane, newly arrived in Los Angeles to spend the Christmas holiday with his estranged wife (Bonnie Bedelia). But as McClane waits for his wife's office party to break-up, terrorists seize control of the building. While the terrorist leader, Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) and his savage henchman (Alexander Godunov) round up hostages, McClane slips away unnoticed. Armed with only a service revolver and his wits. McClane launches his own one-man war. A crackling thriller from beginning to end, Die Hard explodes with heartstopping suspense.

Reginald VelJohnson, Paul Gleason, De'voreaux White, William Atherton, Hart Bochner.

Die hard is the best movies ever, love them all! From the about 30 terrorists against one barefooted to the suspense of what will happen next. The movie is one of my favourite movies of all time. You will never find another movie like it!

The Color Purple

(15)

The Color Purple makes a sumptuous transfer to DVD in this special edition. The lush and vibrant cinematography is well served by the widescreen format; Quincy Jones's warmly enveloping score, shot through with jazz age references, is superbly enhanced by surround sound. The extras are ideal companions to the main picture, detailing the passage of Alice Walker's novel from book to screen. Walker herself recalls the anxieties of the process, while director Spielberg and various cast members remember many poignant moments during and after filming, reminding us with a jolt that this beautifully made, hugely popular and inspirational film didn't win a single Academy Award.

Danny Glover, Whoopi Goldberg, Margaret Avery, Oprah Winfrey, Willard E. Pugh, Akosua Busia.

I thought this movie was great from start to finish made my throat ache trying to hold back the tears, I first seen this movie a couple of years ago and thought it was great, now seeing it many times since its still gives me goosebumps when i watch it. I loved it.!

Unsolved Mysteries

First broadcast in January of 1987, Unsolved Mysteries is one of the longest running programs in television and the inspiration for dozens of imitators. It is also one of the first television shows with an audience interactive call-to-action requesting viewer tips to help solve actual cases. Each episode consists of five segments profiling real-life mysteries and an update of a case which has been solved, thanks to a viewer tip. The segments are drawn from a variety of several different categories: Murder, Missing Persons, Wanted Fugitives, UFOs, Ghosts, The Unexplained (Paranormal), Missing Heirs, Amnesia, Fraud, among others. Viewers are urged to contact the series website, unsolved.com, if they have information that might help to solve a case. UM staff will forward the information to the appropriate authorities or law enforcement.

I find this TV series fascinating, as I cant believe there is so many Unsolved Mysteries!!!

V The Final Battle

(15)

Who will claim the V for victory?

Is there life out there? Finally we know. Because they are here. Alien spacecraft with humanlike passengers have come to Earth. They say they come in peace for food and water. The water they find in our reservoirs. The food they find walking about everywhere on two legs.

That saga that began with V now culminates in a struggle to save the world in V: The Final Battle. Sci-fi film stalwarts Marc Singer, Robert Englund and Michael Ironside head a large cast in this tense adventure that leaps from the stunning revelation of reptilian beings concealed by human masks to the birth of the first human/spaceling child to the harrowing countdown to nuclear doomsday. The future begins or ends here.

Jane Badler, Michael Durrell, Faye Grant, Richard Herd, Thomas Hill, Peter Nelson, David Packer, Eric Johnston, Blair Tefkin, Denise Galik.

I loved V when it was first shown on t.v. in 1984 and I decided to buy the DVD, it brought back some memories. While it is not particularly great in the special effects department, it still provides a great viewing suitable for most of the family to watch.

V The Mini Series

(12)

They Come In Peace - To Enslave Humankind!

Fifty spaceships, each three miles across, hover ominously above Earth's major cities. The Visitors that emerge are human like in appearance and extend the hand of friendship. Our planet's resources are just what these aliens need to survive. And for its future survival, unsuspecting humankind will need... a miracle!

Kenneth Johnson's science-fiction spectacular V mixes dynamic special effects with cliffhanger thrills. As fascist rule enslaves the globe, freedom fighters battle to save our species. Marc Singer heads an epic-sized cast of human defenders and - behind sleek uniforms and benevolent behavior - reptilian invaders. For unparalleled extraterrestrial excitement, the invaders of V are unstoppable.

Jane Badler, Michael Durrell, Faye Grant, Peter Nelson, David Packer, Neva Patterson, Tommy Petersen, Blair Tefkin, Robert Englund, Joanna Kerns, Eric Johnston.

Just Brilliant!

This series relies on a strong plot and innovate character development to maintain interest with the special effects in the background. The effects are a bit dated - but the clever adaption of the aliens coming to earth has not. Since the effects are not relied on to sell the series, you allow them to be outdated and don't let them distract you from your enjoyment. The constant depiction of the visitors makes them totally convincing and makes such an invasion of earth totally chilling.

Supernatural

(15)

22 years ago, John Winchester (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) awoke in the middle of the night to find his wife, Mary (Samantha Smith) , pinned to the ceiling, bleeding from the stomach, and set aflame. He managed to get his sons, 4-year-old Dean (Ridge Canipe) and six-month old Sam (Colin Ford), out of the house, but Mary was killed leaving John devastated and determined for revenge against the supernatural thing that killed her. Present day, John has raised his sons to fight supernatural forces. Demons, ghosts, even cryptologic creatures. However, they can't find the thing that killed Mary. With his constant clashes with his father, Sam becomes disenchanted with the hunter's lifestyle, and goes away to college, where he falls in love with a girl named Jessica Moore. After years of estrangement, Dean (Jensen Ackles) shows up at Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Jess' (Adrianne Palicki) one night to ask for Sam's help to look for their father who had gone missing during a "hunting trip". At first, Sam is reluctant to be roped back into the world of hunting and prefers his "safe" normal life he had managed to make for himself with Jess, but when he finds Jess dead through the same M.O. as their mother, he sets out with Dean to find their father by following any supernatural leads they can find across the country, hoping they track him down.

Jim Beaver, Misha Collins, Genevieve Cortese, Samantha Ferris, Katie Cassidy, Lauren Cohan.

This is one of the best TV series ever. Its fun, it keeps you on the edge of your seat. And the lads are to die for. I would recommend this to anyone so start watching it.
