It's Complicated

(15)

Jane (Meryl Streep) is the mother of three grown kids, owns a thriving Santa Barbara bakery/restaurant and has-after a decade of divorce-an amicable relationship with her ex-husband, attorney Jake (Alec Baldwin). But when Jane and Jake find themselves out of town for their son's college graduation, things start to get complicated. An innocent meal together turns into the unimaginable-an affair. With Jake remarried to the much younger Agness (Lake Bell), Jane is now, of all things, the other woman.

Caught in the middle of their renewed romance is Adam (Steve Martin), an architect hired to remodel Jane's kitchen. Healing from a divorce of his own, Adam starts to fall for Jane, but soon realizes he's become part of a love triangle.

Should Jane and Jake move on with their lives, or is love truly lovelier the second time around? It's... complicated.

John Krasinski
, Mary Kay Place, Rita Wilson, Alexandra Wentworth, Hunter Parrish.

This movie was so hilarious, Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin were fabulous and i would highly recommend this movie to anyone who is wanting to see a well made romantic comedy!!

In exchange for the spinal surgery that will fix his legs, Jake gathers intel for the cooperating military unit spearheaded by gung-ho Colonel Quaritch (Stephen Lang), while simultaneously attempting to infiltrate the Na'vi people with the use of an "avatar" identity. While Jake begins to bond with the native tribe and quickly falls in love with the beautiful alien Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), the restless Colonel moves forward with his ruthless extermination tactics, forcing the soldier to take a stand - and fight back in an epic battle for the fate of Pandora.

Dr. Adrian Helmsley (Chiwetel Ejiofor), part of a worldwide geophysical team investigating the effect on the earth of radiation from unprecedented solar storms, learns that the earth's core is heating up. He warns U.S. President Thomas Wilson (Danny Glover) that the crust of the earth is becoming unstable and that without proper preparations for saving a fraction of the world's population, the entire race is doomed. Meanwhile, writer Jackson Curtis (John Cusack) stumbles on the same information. While the world's leaders race to build "arks" to escape the impending cataclysm, Curtis struggles to find a way to save his family (Amanda Peet, Liam James, Morgan Lily). Meanwhile, volcanic eruptions and earthquakes of unprecedented strength wreak havoc around the world.

Thought this movie was really great, loved every minute of it. Cusack is absolutely brilliant and fits his role very well. The special effects will take your breath away. I loved it, and I think anyone who wants to be entertained, amazed, and thrilled would love it too.

The Road

(15)

A father (Viggo Mortensen) and his son (Kodi Smit-McPhee) walk alone through burned America. Nothing moves in the ravaged landscape save the ash on the wind and water. It is cold enough to crack stones, and, when the snow falls it is gray. The sky is dark. Their destination is the warmer south, although they don't know what, if anything, awaits them there. They have nothing: just a pistol to defend themselves against the lawless cannibalistic bands that stalk the road, the clothes they are wearing, a rusting shopping cart of scavenged food--and each other.

Charlize Theron
, Robert Duvall, Guy Pearce, Molly Parker, Michael K. Williams.

The movie follows a father and son travelling the road simply to survive. They have to avoid robbers and cannibals they search for food. We see in flash backs of the mother of the boy just gives up by walking away. This is a moving storey of survival.

The Hangover

"What happened in Vegas?" That's the question three friends must ask when they awake in their hotel room after a stag party to discover the groom is gone in this instant comedy classic from 'Starsky & Hutch' director Todd Phillips, incorporating everything from pet tigers to naked Chinese gangsters!

From "Old School" director Todd Phillips comes a comedy about a bachelor party gone very, very wrong. Two days before his wedding, Doug (Justin Bartha) drives to Las Vegas with his best buddies Phil and Stu (Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms) and his future brother-in-law Alan (Zach Galifianakis), for a blow-out bachelor party they vow they'll never forget. But when the three groomsmen wake up the next morning with pounding headaches, they can't remember a thing. Their luxury hotel suite is beyond trashed and the groom is nowhere to be found. With no clue about what happened and little time to spare, the trio must attempt to retrace their bad decisions from the night before in order to figure out where things went wrong, in the hope of finding Doug and getting him back to L.A. in time for his wedding. But the more they begin to uncover, the more they realize just how much trouble they're really in.

This movie was really great and so hilarious. The characters are likeable and have phenomenal chemistry, the dialogue is witty and the performances are insane. If you love a great comendy then you'll love this, one comendy you shouldn't miss.
