(500) Days of Summer

(12)

Off-beat romantic comedy starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Brick, Mysterious Skin) and Zooey Deschanel (Failure to Launch).

"This is a story of boy meets girl", begins the wry, probing narrator of 500 Days Of Summer, and with that the film takes off at breakneck speed into a funny, true-to-life and unique dissection of the unruly and unpredictable year-and-a-half of one young man's no-holds-barred love affair.

Tom, the boy, still believes, even in this cynical modern world, in the notion of a transforming, cosmically destined, lightning-strikes-once kind of love. Summer, the girl, doesn't. Not at all. But that doesn't stop Tom from going after her, again and again, like a modern Don Quixote, with all his might and courage. Suddenly, Tom is in love not just with a lovely, witty, intelligent woman -- not that he minds any of that -- but with the very idea of Summer, the very idea of a love that still has the power to shock the heart and stop the world.

Geoffrey Arend, Chloe Moretz, Matthew Gray Gubler, Clark Gregg, Patricia Belcher, Rachel Boston, Minka Kelly, Ian Reed Kesler, Darryl Alan Reed, Valente Rodriguez, Nicole Vicius, Natalie Boren.

This movie is really great & funny, its very original, funny and moving. Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon Levitt play there characters perfectly. One for those who love the romantic comedy's.

Brilliant movie! Make sure you have your tissues really as you going to need them as its tear jerker. This movie gives a great insight to how cancer can effect all members of a family.

The Lost And Found Family

The story starts with a wealthy woman, Ester (Ellen Bry), losing her husband only to find that he made some bad investments and lost all their money. The only possession left was a house he bought in Ester’s name years before. One catch, a family occupied the house and she would have to live in the house with them until it sold. The family was two foster parents and five kids. Two of the kids were teens that were dealing with issues of their own. Ester was struggling with loneliness and couldn’t understand that her pain was not top priority to any one else. She describes her situation as being just as much of an orphan as the kids. She also discovers that she needs God to bring her through. They all find that caring for someone else and helping them through their problems will bring them closer together.

Pandorum

(15)

Two crew members are stranded on a spacecraft and quickly - and horrifically - realize they are not alone. Two astronauts awaken in a hyper-sleep chamber aboard a seemingly abandoned spacecraft. It's pitch black, they are disoriented, and the only sound is a low rumble and creak from the belly of the ship. They can't remember anything: Who are they? What is their mission? With Lt. Payton (Dennis Quaid) staying behind to guide him via radio transmitter, Cpl. Bower (Ben Foster) ventures deep into the ship and begins to uncover a terrifying reality. Slowly the spacecraft's shocking, deadly secrets are revealed...and the astronauts find their own survival is more important than they could ever have imagined.

Moon

(15)

An isolated lunar astronaut begins to lose his grip on reality in this cerebral sci-fi thriller with one heck of a twist.

Sam Bell (Sam Rockwell) is just two weeks away from finishing a lengthy, lonely contract mining Earth's primary source of energy, Helium-3, on the dark side of the moon. Thanks to a glitch in the communications satellite, Sam's only companion on this trip is Gerty (voiced by Kevin Spacey), the base's unsophisticated computer, and the odd recorded message sent from home. As his contract nears termination, Sam starts suffering from crippling headaches and vivid hallucinations, which lead to a near-fatal accident in a lunar rover. But while he's recovering back at the base, he makes a shocking discovery: a younger version of himself has arrived to fulfil the same contract Sam started all that time ago. Is the second Sam just another hallucination or something altogether more sinister?

This movie is just fantastic. Its one of the best Scifi's movies ever made, an fantastic performance from Sam Rockwell and special effects that enhanced the story. This is one for all those true Scifi fans out there. I would recommend this 100%.
