Raven

The "Orphans" series consists of four novellas and a full-length novel, which brings all four threads of the story together. This one features Raven, who is rescued from a deprived life with her drunken mother only to encounter painful humiliation at the hands of her rescuers.

I think this book was really really sad, I enjoyed it a lot though. I think it was really well written and that V.Andrews is a very good author.
