The "Orphans" series consists of four novellas and a full-length novel, which brings all four threads of the story together. This one features Brooke, whose adoptive parents welcome her to their huge, gleaming house. Unfortunately, their values do not include the school softball team.
This novel, is not as deep as some of his earlier novels, but still an excellent read. None the less I recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of Virginia Andrews.
