The first gripping novel of suspense in the compelling Cutler family series. Settling into her new school, developing a crush on fellow pupil Philip Cutler and cherishing a secret hope to become a famous singer one day, Dawn Longchamp feels happy and safe. But nothing is what it seems...When Dawn's mother suddenly dies, her world begins to crumble. After a terrible new shock, Dawn is thrust into a different family and an evil web of unspoken sins. Her sweet innocence lost, humiliated and scorned, Dawn is desperate to find her older brother Jimmy again - and to strip away the wicked lies that have changed both their lives forever.
I read Dawn a couple of years ago and found it an excellent read. I felt as though I was there watching Dawn's life unfold. There are enough twists and turns to make you keep turning the pages. The cutler series is one of my favourite series from Virginia Andrews!!!
