Mannequin/Mannequin 2: On the Move

(15)

Mannequin (1987)
Struggling artist Jonathan Switcher (Andrew McCarthy) is going nowhere fast, bouncing from one dead-end job to another. But when a window mannequin he creates for a department store magically comes to life, Emmy, the grateful fiberglass femme fatale (Kim Cattrall, TV's Sex and the City), helps Jonathan become the best window dresser in town! But once competitors try to put Jonathan out of business - for good - Emmy realizes that the real world isn't so special after all, in this charming romantic comedy that also stars Meshach Taylor, Estelle Getty and James Spader.

Mannequin 2: On The Move (1991)
Jason Williamson (William Ragsdale) thinks he's got it made when he becomes the assistant to "Hollywood" Montrose (Meshach Taylor), head window dresser at a chic department store. But when Jason accidentally removes an amulet from a mannequin, who's really Jessie (Kristy Swanson), a 1,000-year-old peasant girl turned into a statue, he magically brings Jessie to life! To stay unfrozen, Jessie must receive a kiss from her one true love before a reincarnated evil sorcerer finds her. And with "Hollywood" in the mix, it's sure to be the match of the millennium!

Seen this movie loads of times. Will watch it again. Feelgood movie, good memories of that part of my life. Whatever you want to call it. Love the movie. Still raises a smile.
