Paycheck

(12)

Ben Affleck stars as Michael Jennings, a brilliant computer engineer hired by high-tech corporations for specialized top-secret projects. Once a job is complete, Jennings routinely has his short-term memory erased so as not to divulge any sensitive company information to future clients. Highly paid for his work, he expects to earn $4.4 billion at the end of his latest 3-year project. But upon completion of the job, instead of a big paycheck, Jennings is handed an envelope filled with random objects and told that he has agreed to forfeit all payment. With his memory erased as usual, Jennings has no way to prove them wrong until he discovers the objects are clues to the puzzle that once was his past. But with Federal agents hot on his heels, Jennings quickly learns that more than just his paycheck is at stake. In a race against time, Jennings must put the pieces together with the help of Rachel (Uma Thurman), the woman he has worked with and loved for the past three years who rekindles his memory of their life together, before the people he once worked for have him killed.

Aaron Eckhart, Paul Giamatti, Colm Feore, Joe Morton, Michael C. Hall, Peter Friedman, Kathryn Morris, Ivana Milicevic.

This movie is good. This movie was edge-of-the-seat excitement. If you liked the Bourne series then you'll love this too. This movie was slightly too long, but if you want to see a gripping action adventure movie, that keeps you guessing, then watch Paycheck.

Aliens in the Attic

(PG)

It's summer vacation, but the Pearson family kids (Carter Jenkins, Austin Robert Butler, Ashley Tisdale, Ashley Boettcher, Henri Young, Regan Young) are stuck at a boring lake house with their nerdy parents. That is until feisty, little, green aliens crash-land on the roof, with plans to conquer the house AND Earth!

Using only their wits, courage and video game-playing skills, the youngsters must band together to defeat the aliens and save the world - but the toughest part might be keeping the whole thing a secret from their parents! Featuring an all-star cast including Ashley Tisdale, Andy Richter, Kevin Nealon and Tim Meadows, Aliens In The Attic is the most fun you can have on this planet!

Doris Roberts, Robert Hoffman, Kevin Nealon, Gillian Vigman, Andy Richter, Tim Meadows, Malese Jow, Megan Parker, Maggie VandenBerghe.

Thought this movie was really good, I thought Doris Roberts from Everybody Loves Raymond was good. Really good as a family movie. If you haven't seen this yet I recommend you watch it.

Vanessa Minnillo, G. Thang, Nicole Parker, Carmen Electra, Tad Hilgenbrink, Nick Steele, Jason Boegh, Valerie Wildman, Able Spigner, Noah Harpster, Austin Michael Scott, Devin Crittenden.

This is the worst movie I have ever seen. Didn't even find it funny at all.

28 Days Later

(18)

Animal activists (Alex Palmer, Bindu De Stoppani, Jukka Hiltunen) invade a laboratory with the intention of releasing chimpanzees that are undergoing experimentation, infected by a virus -a virus that causes rage. The naive activists ignore the pleas of a scientist (David Schneider) to keep the cages locked, with disastrous results. Twenty-eight days later, our protagonist, Jim (Cillian Murphy), wakes up from a coma, alone, in an abandoned hospital. He begins to seek out anyone else to find London is deserted, apparently without a living soul. After finding a church, which had become inhabited by zombie like humans intent on his demise, he runs for his life. Selena (Naomie Harris) and Mark (Noah Huntley) rescue him from the horde and bring him up to date on the mass carnage and horror as all of London tore itself apart. This is a tale of survival and ultimately, heroics, with nice subtext about mankind's savage nature.

Toby Sedgwick, Christopher Dunne, Emma Hitching, Alexander Delamere, Kim McGarrity, Brendan Gleeson, Megan Burns, Justin Hackney.

This is a must watch for anyone who likes a good horror movie and I guess with the second one out it is a must have for anyone going to see that.
