The Blue Lagoon/Return to the Blue Lagoon

(15) The Blue Lagoon

The lush beauty and splendor of a South Pacific paradise is vividly captured in this version of Henry DeVere Stacpoole´s 1903 novel. Two small children and a ship´s cook survive a shipwreck and find safety on an idyllic tropical island. Soon, however, the cook dies and the young boy and girl are left on their own.

As time passes, the kids enter puberty and begin to discover their sexuality. Without realizing what's happening to her, Em becomes pregnant and gives birth. With the baby comes responsibility and the wonder of discovery, as the parents, themselves still children, learn what it means to have another human life dependent on them...

(15) Return to the Blue Lagoon
Orphaned at the age of 8 on a deserted island, a young boy and girl grow up together and learn about survival, love and their own sexuality. Once a captain and his daughter sail upon their deserted shore and tempts them back to civilization they must now learn what is most important: each other...

Enjoyed the first movie better than the second, its about two people growing up on an island, but Tom Hanks Cast Away is still my favourite stranded on a island movie!!

WILSOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!
