Rio

(U)

From the Creators of Ice Age, Rio is comedic adventure that tells the story of Blu (Jesse Eisenberg), a likeable "nerdy" bird who can't fly, who embarks upon a wild adventure in one of the most exotic and magical places on earth where he makes incredible friends, discovers his inner hero, and finds that he has what it takes to soar! All Rio packs also contain free and exclusive, 15 new levels of Rio Angry Birds!

This movie was great I loved every minute of it and the whole movie I think was really entertaining and very cute birds too. This movie has the laughs and fun every movie needs. A great children's movie to be enjoyed by all the family.

Gnomeo & Juliet

(U)

Set in the gardens of fair Verona Drive, we witness the blossoming romance of two young gnomes, Gnomeo (James McAvoy) and Juliet (Emily Blunt), amidst a turf war between the reds and the blues. Between the high-speed lawnmower chases and stealth missions, hearts (and hats) are broken, loyalties are tested and garden boundaries drawn, but can true gnomance conquer all? When your best friends are an over-excitable frog, a lovelorn flamingo, a loyal mushroom, a team of Bond-esque bunnies and a dopey fawn, there's a shedload of fun and adventure around every plant pot!

The miniature monuments are voiced by massive household names including James McAvoy, Emily Blunt, Matt Lucas, Maggie Smith, Michael Caine, Stephen Merchant, Ashley Jensen, Jason Statham and Ozzy Osbourne to gnome a few! Featuring classic and original songs by Elton John and directed by Kelly Asbury (Shrek 2) Gnomeo And Juliet is a great love story......with a very small difference.

Thought this was a great children's movie, children of all ages will enjoy it, even big kids. Full of humour, heartbreak, love and sadness, but it all ends up happy in the end and all the gnomes are reunited and living in a happy community.

All the music, fun, and excitement under the sea resurface in this magical, special edition of Disney's 28th animated masterpiece. Awash with breathtaking animation, unforgettably colourful characters, and two Academy Awards for score and song, "Under The Sea," The Little Mermaid is one of Disney's most cherished films. Pocahontas 2 Journey To A New World

(U)
Bursting with high-spirited adventure, daring duels and hilarious new mischief from Meeko (John Kassir), Percy (Danny Mann) and Flit (Frank Welker), Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World boldly presents a fun-filled new chapter in the life of Disney's bravest heroine!

The same breathtaking magic that brought the original Disney Classic to life now sends Pocahontas (Irene Bedard her sing voice by Judy Kuhn) down a new path as she boards a great ship and sails to England! Escorted by dashing British gent John Rolfe (Billy Zane), her oversized bodyguard Uti and stowaways Meeko, Percy and Flit, Pocahontas begins an important mission of peace. An eye opening "new world" awaits her on the bustling, shop-lined streets of London - but so does a deadly new threat from Ratcliffe! As Pocahontas prepares for the elegant King's Ball (Jim Cummings), with comical help from nearsighted maid Mrs. Jenkins (Jean Stapleton), her feelings from Rolfe are growing. But the sudden reappearance of John Smith (Donal Gibson) forces Pocahontas into another life-changing decision, between two loves and two ways of life!

Finola Hughes, Linda Hunt, Russell Means, David Ogden Stiers, Colin McCabe.

True to the long-standing Disney tradition of lush, colorful animation, heartwarming characters and captivating new songs, this all-new Pocahontas adventure stands tall with a spirit all its own!

I really liked the first Pocahontas better than this one, for the musical and the great script. The sequel is not as good but still quite a good movie. I would recommend this to all who has seen the first one, but don't expect it to be just as good, because its not!!!

Pocahontas

(U)

Capt. John Smith (Mel Gibson) leads a rag-tag band of English sailors & soldiers to the New World to plunder its riches for England (or, more precisely, for Governor Ratcliffe (David Ogden Stiers), who comes along for the ride). Meanwhile, in this "New World," Chief Powhatan (Russell Means) has pledged his daughter, Pocahontas (Irene Bedard her sing voice is by Judy Kuhn), to be married to the village's greatest warrior. Pocahontas, however, has other ideas. She has seen a vision of a spinning arrow, a vision she believes tells her change is coming. Her life does indeed change when the English ship lands near her village. Between Ratcliffe, who believes the "savages" are hiding the gold he expected to be plentiful, and Powhatan, who believes these pale newcomers will destroy their land, Smith and Pocahontas have a difficult time preventing all-out war, and saving their love for each other.

Christian Bale
, Lind Hunt, Danny Mann, Billy Connolly, Joe Baker, Frank Welker.

This movie is a really great for children. The movie is a classic, it has some comedy in it from the sidekick pals Meeko (John Kassir) the Meerkat. The songs are the making of this movie it just wouldn't be the same without them. If you have young children this this is a must watch. All in all a great movie for children.

The Jungle Book 1967

(U)

One of the most popular Disney films ever, The Jungle Book is a song-filled celebration of friendship, fun and adventure set in a lush and colourful world. Inspired by Rudyard Kipling's"Mowgli" stories, Disney's 19th animated masterpiece was the last animated feature that had Walt Disney's personal touch.

The jubilant adventure begins when Mowgli (Bruce Reitherman), a little boy raised by wolves, is urged by his friend Bagheera (Sebastian Cabot), a wise old panther, to seek safety in the man-village. Feeling very much at home in the jungle, Mowgli resists and runs off. Much to Bagherra's dismay, Mowgli meets a new friend with a happy-go-lucky- philosophy of life- Baloo (Phil Harris) the bear, a lovable " jungle bum." Together, the three buddies find the journey back to civilization anything but civilized! They encounter a crazy orangutan, the hypnotic and sly snake Kaa (Sterling Holloway) and the menacing Shere Khan (George Sanders)!

Louis Prima, J. Pat O'Malley, Verna Felton, Clint Howard, Chad Stuart, Lord Tim Hudson, John Abbott, Darleen Carr, Ben Wright.

This is a classic Disney movie, in the top 5 of their cartoons. It is a really excellent childrens movie. I watched this when I was growing up. Then I watched it with my children when they were younger. And you still don't get bored with it.

Surf’s Up

(U)

This story follows a teenage rock hopper penguin named Cody Maverick (Shia LaBeouf) from his hometown of Shiverpool, Antarctica, where all of the other penguins think he's nothing but a surfing fool, to the "Big Z Memorial Surf Off" on Pen Gu Island. Young Cody is determined to win the most important competition in the world of penguin surfing in honor of "Big Z," (Jeff Bridges) a deceased surfing legend whom he has idolized since childhood. But the waves in Pen Gu are different than in Shiverpool, and the competition is steep. The current champ, egotistical Tank Evans (Diedrich Bader), isn't just about to let this little penguin knock him from first place without a fight. When Cody wipes out and encounters Geek (Jeff Bridges), a recluse aging former surfer, living in the jungle, he learns some important lessons about life and surfing, and even teaches Geek a thing or two.

Zooey Deschanel, Jon Heder, James Woods,
Mario Cantone, Kelly Slater, Rob Machado.

Surf's Up is a very funny movie and even though I though I think Happy Feet is better. Kids and adults will like this too. The story is fresh, original funny. Buy this for the whole family to watch, trust me you won't regret it.
